Home Is Where America Happens

This 4th of July weekend feels a little extra special. As America celebrates 250 years, it’s a good time to look around and remember where so much of life really happens.

It happens around backyard tables, on front porches, in kitchens, gardens, living rooms, and driveways. It happens when neighbors wave from across the street, when kids chase fireflies, when grandparents tell stories, and when everyone gathers for one more plate of food before the fireworks begin.

Home is where traditions are passed down. It’s where children learn what matters. It’s where families rest, celebrate, disagree, forgive, laugh, and grow. It’s where ordinary days become the memories we carry for a lifetime.

As we celebrate 250 years of America, we’re reminded that the heart of this country has always been its people — and the homes and communities they build together.

So this weekend, enjoy the cookouts, the laughter, the red, white, and blue, and the sparkle in the summer sky. Take a moment to appreciate the people beside you and the place you call home.

Here’s to family, friendship, healthy homes, good neighbors, and the next 250 years.
